What is Event Point?

Event Point is a platform for discovering, creating, and sharing local events. You can browse what is happening near you, follow groups, and connect with other attendees.

Does it cost anything to use?

Browsing events and creating your own events is free. Where an organiser sells tickets, a service or processing fee may apply and will always be shown before you complete a purchase.

How do I create an event?

Sign in, choose "Create event", then add the title, date and time, location, description and an image. Your event appears in the listings once published.

How do I buy tickets?

Open the event, choose your ticket option and check out securely. Payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe) and your tickets are sent to your e-mail.

Can I get a refund?

The event organiser is the seller and is responsible for refunds and cancellations. If you need a refund, contact the organiser through the event. Service fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

How are events near me chosen?

We show events for your region based on your approximate location (from your IP address or browser settings). You can change the city or region at any time using the filters and the region switcher.

How do I sell tickets as an organiser?

Create your event, add one or more ticket options with prices, and connect your payout details so funds from ticket sales reach you. You remain responsible for delivering the event.
